A simply lovely early half cent that somehow survived over 200 years unscathed. The mint luster cartwheels beautifully through both the obverse and reverse as tinges of sienna-orange tease the beholder. A couple of thin die cracks are present, adding interest. A single focal point bag mark on the obverse is all that prevents this lovely piece from achieving gem status. The in-hand eye appeal is truly remarkable! - Draped Bust Half Cent
