A better variety with the experimental III edge that was created to thwart counterfeiters. With just eleven graded finer by PCGS, this piece is most decidedly a high-end example of the variety. A deep orange-gold skin glows with soft luster from behind a pleasing patina. A slightly weak strike is seen on stars 1-4 and the high points, however, nice details remain in Liberty's hair and the Eagle's feathers. Appearing completely original in hand, this is a pleasing piece sure to appease the variety collector looking for an UNC example. - Capped Bust Half Dollar
