A more common date from a mintage of 4,922,000 coins, this issue is easily obtainable in all grades up to and including MS65. It becomes scarce in 66 and rare in 66+, with just one other 66+ and three MS67s known. Lovely golden tones abound across both sides anchored by teal, burnt-orange, and sienna coloration at the peripherals. Brightly lustrous and fully defined, there is just one tiny mark on Liberty's cheek by the mouth that is noticeable and worthy of mention, likely the reason it was not granted the lofty MS67 grade. An outstanding piece to behold! This would make a great addition to a top-tier registry set. - Barber Half Dollar
