With a mintage of only 22,135 coins, it is estimated that only 12 to 20 mint state examples survive extant. This variety is easily recognizable by the cud on the star to the left of the date and the die clashes seen on both sides. Fantastic rainbow toning forms concentric circles across both sides! The lovely and boldly struck surfaces feature impressive reflectivity around the peripherals while the centers are frosty. An impressively preserved choice example! The eye appeal is outstanding.
