Die polish lines on the obverse give this rare gold Eagle a semi-prooflike appearance. The luster is strong in the protected areas, particularly around the date and stars, serving to highlight the natural beauty. Although the obverse appears a bit "scruffy", the eye appeal is still quite nice.
