The first of this scarce issue we have had the pleasure of offering in many years and certainly the finest! The limited mintage of 17,000 circulated widely in the West leaving survivors confined to the XF range. PCGS has graded no Mint State examples and reports just nine finer than this handsome AU piece. Partly lustrous with rich orange-gold coloration to both sides. A few tiny ticks and minor friction from its brief stint in circulation are present and hold back the technical grade but do not affect the overall impressive visual appeal.
