The San Fran Mint cranked out a mintage just over 1 million coins in 1870. This is a decent mintage, however, collectors did not save examples leaving most well worn making UNC offerings scarce! The current coin features even green-grey surfaces with some iridescent tones in the centers. Luster is soft as it has been minorly impeded by the deep toning. All details are bold and pleasing for the grade with minimal chatter. A nice example that is sure to please the collector who values untouched originality! - Liberty Seated Half Dollar
