Wonderful, superb gem example of this popular New Orleans Mint issue in the Barber Quarter series. A moderately low mintage for the series leaves only two examples finer than the present gem example. Mint luster beams through the original patina of electric blue with hints of orange-gold along the rims. Sharp, nearly-full striking detail can be seen on virtually all design elements which is a great feat considering New Orleans Barber quarters are often found weakly struck. Clearly well-preserved, this original piece boasts incredible eye appeal. - Barber Quarter
