A fantastic gem type coin from the Capped Bust half dime series! Satiny surfaces are wonderfully lustrous and essentially untoned with just the lightest tough of golden-grey iridescence. Quite bold despite being struck from heavily clashed dies that caused strike weakness that is most apparent on the left side of the eagle on the reverse.
