An issue that is rare any finer than gem from a mintage of 1,920,772 coins. This piece comes from a total population of two coins (The other coin is not CAC-approved) with just one MS68 graded finer! The 68 is in the D.L. Hansen primary collection. Rose and blue centers transform into rainbow coloration at the rims. The pleasing toning is enhanced by satiny luster engulfing both sides. Some 1903-S halves bear a weak strike, however, this is a pleasing outlier with fully impressed details and no mentionable marks or abrasions.
