Despite a higher mintage, the 1883 With Cents issue is much scarcer than it's no-cents counterpart, since most collectors saved the No Cents issue thinking it would be a key date. But the high number of uncirculated examples saved backfired in terms of value. PCGS reports just two finer, both in 67+. Smooth and fully lustrous the striking detail is sharp, and a pleasing blend of gold and icy blue iridescence adds to the already impressive visual appeal. - Liberty Nickel
