Considered a low Rarity 6, these restrikes were made using the original dies but are identified by the overly-deep strike at the rims from a buckled die, and a slight die bulge visible on the obverse. This exact coin was formerly an NGC PR66 but now resides in a more appropriate holder. Reddish-brown in color with outstanding purple, teal, and green tones, primarily on the obverse. Bright flashes of original mint red color are also noticeable on the obverse in the protected areas of the peripheral devices. Flashy obverse mirrors are gorgeous as ample luster lights up the colorful surfaces. Minimal distractions are confined to the obverse and the toning/carbon flecks are clearly inert. Overall, a very pleasing coin that meshes beauty and rarity seamlessly! - Classic Head Half Cent
