From a scant mintage of 7,715 coins, the 1875-CC is truly a key date in the series. This high-end XF example has pale sienna tones gracing the bright tangerine surfaces. Impressive luster remains for the grade which serves to enhance the eye appeal. All 1875-CC gold Eagles suffered from a rather sad strike, including on the mintmark itself. Amazingly there are only three of this date that remain uncirculated! A great coin ready for a new home. - Liberty Head $10
