U.S. Mint was focusing on Morgans due to the Bland-Allison Act, however, a decent mintage of 970,000 was still produced by the San Francisco Mint. An underrated sleeper date, this piece is a PCGS/NGC population of seven with only two NGC examples finer. This is tied for the finest known PCGS graded example for the issue. Medium-gold surfaces feature a light tan patina mainly on the obverse. Booming luster swirls around the entirety of the coin and creates phenomenal eye appeal! This piece seems like a great value considering only two NGC pieces are finer. - Liberty Head $10
