A late die state example of this desirable early Large Cent, with faint die cracks and some rather heavy reverse die clash marks throughout, but especially prominent on the reverse. The blundered obverse die displays an underlying "Y" beneath the T in LIBERTY, adding intrigue. Uniformly bold in strike and deeply toned overall with glossy brown highlights and patches of strangely brilliant mint red peeking through on the reverse. - Draped Bust Cent
