One of several different die varieties for the year that include an array of date sizes and reverse lettering sizes - all of which are important Guidebook varieties required to complete a full set. This is the Large Date, Large Letter version and retains lovely eye appeal with natural toning and a wide range of both warm and cool colors. A tiny planchet flaw can be seen at the lower reverse rim, adding interest. The strike leaves much to be desired but is not unusual for the date. - Capped Bust Half Dollar
