A low mintage Carson City issue, just 14,000 coins were struck and very few uncs survive. Just seven pieces have been graded finer by PCGS and NGC combined at this level of contrast and one MS61PL has been graded by NGC with none finer. The present piece looks PL with perfectly reflective fields surrounding frosted devices. Outstanding flashy luster radiates throughout highlighting wonderfully strong details. Bright lemon-gold color abounds with a light splash of orange toning seen on the obverse. Very appealing and worthy of a new premium registry set! - Liberty Head $10
