A highly elusive San Francisco Mint Liberty eagle issue from a mintage of just 5,000 pieces, of which an estimate of just 30 to 45 survivors. From a PCGS population of four, less than two dozen examples have been graded finer with only a single example known in uncirculated. A truly pleasing example for the amount of time this piece spent in circulation! Warmly toned with touches of olive and violet in the protected areas and plenty of bold detail throughout.
